It is used as topping for fruit cakes. In combination with water cakes get limpid fruit taste. If you use fruit juice in colour, topping will be in colour. Flavour will be richer if you use it in combination with juice.
 

Preparation: Mix content of a bag with 3 spoons of sugar (40g) and put in 250ml of cold water or fruit juice, stir costantly until dissolution. Prepared mixture heat up with occasional stiring until it is boiled. Cool topping for about 2,3 minutes and cover the cake, starting in the middle. After 30 minutes of cooling, cake can be cut.
